as its Newest Member State.
 

 


Alabama was officially accepted into the organization at the
 93rd NATIONAL CONVENTION
JULY 30, 2012
ORLANDO, FLORIDA

On January 28, 2012, Director Harold Hester, Jr., National Treasurer Dr. Linda Pates and Past National President Willie Minnifield traveled to Shorter, Alabama to present the National organization to several churches in the surrounding area. The host church was Bethel Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Rev Adrian Taylor Pastor. The presentation was overwhelmingly received and a second meeting was immediately set up for May.

On May 19, 2012, Director Hester, Dr. Pates (Dr. Pates husband James Pates) and Past National President Minnifield met to organize the State.  In attendance were Rev. Adrian Taylor – Bethel Grove Missionary Baptist Church and Rev. Jonathan Temple, Pastor of Walker Chapel Church Director Hester held the elections. The elected Officers are: President – Gwendolyn White, 1st Vice President – Sherry Williams – Recording Secretary – Jocelyn Tillman, Financial Secretary – Ashley Simpson, Treasurer – Lynette Freeman, Chaplain – Bonita Hutcherson.  Alabama makes our Tenth State in the Southern Region.
